Teikyo University's Hachioji Campus opened its doors wide to welcome a diverse cohort of international students on Sunday, July 16, 2023. At this vibrant event, both international and Japanese students currently enrolled at the esteemed institution took the lead in orchestrating the day's proceedings. Additionally, students from Japanese language schools, eager to embark on their educational journey at the university, enthusiastically participated.

The focal point of the event was the informative university entrance examination briefing, a comprehensive session shedding light on the dynamic Japanese language learning environment and the extensive career support services available at the Hachioji Campus Center for Global Education. Attendees were treated to a vivid portrayal of the distinct campus life, where Japanese and international students harmoniously coexist, illustrating the unique essence of Teikyo University. In addition to enlightening campus tours and personalized consultations, a hands-on Japanese learning class provided an immersive experience. Participants delved into a 6-minute animated narrative, navigating through simple yet engaging Japanese conversations. They engaged in in-depth discussions and delivered presentations in Japanese, delving into the psychological intricacies of the characters within each group. This interactive approach fostered a profound exchange of ideas and cultural understanding among the international and Japanese students in attendance, nurturing a conducive environment for Japanese language acquisition.
