Hachioji CampusConducted an overseas training program to propose marketing strategies for Earth Corporation products in the Vietnamese market

In 2018, Teikyo University and Kinki University concluded an agreement on a joint career education program, and jointly conduct an overseas training program in Vietnam every year. Due to the influence of the new coronavirus infection, the program was canceled in 2020, and in 2021, the local travel was postponed and it was conducted online.

This year, due to the lowering of the infectious disease risk information level in Vietnam, we resumed the training, including local travel, for the first time in three years, with the condition that participants have completed three vaccinations. In this program, from August 21 (Sunday) to 27 (Saturday), 2022, in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, the mosquito trap "Earth Nomat", a product of Earth Corporation (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) We took on the challenge of solving the problem of market development in Vietnam.

During the program period, a total of 32 students, 16 from our university and 16 from Kinki University, were mixed to form 8 groups. We conducted research, etc., and challenged our mission to expand the market share and market development of "Earth Nomat" in Vietnam. After returning to Japan, he gave an online presentation to Mr. Katsunori Kawabata, the president of Earth Corporation, about the marketing strategy in Vietnam devised by the students, and summarized the program.
