Utsunomiya CampusGraduate School from our university's Graduate Graduate School of Science and Engineering was awarded an award by the Society of Automotive Engineers of Japan.

On Wednesday, March 2, 2022, Teikyo University Graduate School Akira Kumada (2nd year Graduate School of Science and Engineering) received the 2021 Graduate School Research Encouragement Award from the Society of Automotive Engineers of Japan. This Graduate School research incentive award is provided for the purpose of contributing to the improvement and development of Graduate School' academic achievements, and recognizes those who are planning to complete Graduate School who have conducted research related to excellent automobile technology at Graduate School school.
Mr. Kumada's award-winning research is research on the effects of the latest automobile exhaust gas on the atmosphere in actual road tests, and Mr. Kumada is the first to receive an award from our Graduate School. This award is highly evaluated for our research on automobile technology aiming for carbon neutrality in 2050, and future development of research is expected.
