Saturday, June 20, 2026, 13:00 - 16:30 *Registration starts at 12:30
Teikyo University's Graduate School of Teacher Education has been commissioned by NITS to manage its regional center project starting in 2026. We will propose and implement new approaches to teacher education for the future.
The first session will be about reflection. It is well known that reflection is important for teachers, but simply looking back at events and analyzing what was good and bad does not necessarily lead to growth.
Why not take some time to reconsider how we can re-examine things and think about them in order to develop our strengths?
In the first half, we will explore, through dialogue and workshops, a form of reflection proposed by Teikyo University that involves delving deeper into one's own perspective and exploring the next step.
In the second half, we will be joined by Mr. Yuta Aoyama of Himitsukichi Mori Gakuen, who has been thinking about reflection on a daily basis himself and has supported the reflection efforts of many teachers. We will hear his insights and consider the future of reflection.
