Kanna Maeda of the judo club has been selected to represent Japan at the World Junior Judo Championships.

On September 12th (Sat) and 13th (Sun), 2026, at the All Japan Junior Judo Weight Category Championships held at the Repro Budokan (Ageo City, Saitama Prefecture), Kanna Maeda (1st year, Faculty of Medical Technology) of the Teikyo University Judo Club won the women's 57kg class and was selected to represent Japan at the World Junior Judo Championships to be held in Uzbekistan in November 2026.

The World Junior Judo Championships is an international tournament that brings together promising young athletes from all over the world, and is positioned as a stepping stone for athletes who are expected to perform well in future World Championships and Olympics. We ask for your warm support.
