Teikyo University's Global Initiative Office participated in the International Summer Conference on Education 2026 (SIIEJ2026).

Global Initiative Office of Teikyo University exhibited at the International Summer Conference on Education 2026 (SIIEJ2026), held on August 5th (Wed) and 6th (Thu), 2026, at the Obirin University Shinjuku Campus (Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo).

SIIEJ is a conference aimed at creating a platform for mutual learning among universities, educational institutions, and companies involved in the "internationalization of education." This year's theme was "Aiming to build an all-Japan international education platform," and the conference attracted a record-breaking 480+ participants, fostering exchanges with many universities and companies.
Our university booth attracted over 60 visitors over the two days, and we introduced our internationalization initiatives, including the Teikyo Global Competency Program. The exchange of opinions with visitors provided a valuable opportunity to deepen their understanding of our educational and research activities and internationalization promotion policies.
Furthermore, participating in various sessions provided an opportunity to learn about the latest trends and best practices regarding the internationalization of universities, as well as to expand my network with international affairs staff from other universities.
Global Initiative Office will continue to actively disseminate information about the university's internationalization efforts, and will strive to collect and share the latest information from both domestic and international sources, thereby working to further promote internationalization.
