Students from the soccer club held the "TEIKYO Multi-Sport Carnival: Friendly Soccer on the Grass" event atHachioji Campus

On Saturday, October 10, 2026, the "TEIKYO Multi-Sports Carnival," an event aimed at promoting and enjoying sports, was held at the First Ground of Teikyo University's Hachioji Campus.
This event was organized primarily by students from the university's athletic department's soccer club, who planned ball-based activities and mini-games that even children who have never played soccer before can enjoy.
58 elementary school students participated in this "Friendly Soccer on the Grass" event. They gradually increased the difficulty level while practicing passing, dribbling, and shooting, and finally played a match between the elementary school team and the school's soccer club. The participating children enjoyed interacting with the students and became familiar with soccer, making it a joyous event filled with smiles.
In the participant survey, comments included, "It was fun playing soccer with university students," and "I want to participate again next year."
Teikyo University will continue to hold community-based sports events and create opportunities for children to engage with sports.
