Two projects from our university have been selected for the "Comprehensive Support Program for University Sports" in fiscal year 2026.

On July 21, 2026 (Tuesday), two projects proposed by Teikyo University to the Japan University Sports Association (UNIVAS) were selected for the FY2026 "Comprehensive Support Project for University Sports."

This support program aims to create and support exemplary cases, widely disseminate their results, and thereby promote initiatives that utilize university sports resources, ultimately increasing the number of students who "participate in," "watch," and "support" university sports.

Through the two selected projects, our university aims to enhance student-led home game operations and realize "university sports that are supported by the community." We will also promote the enhancement of the value of university sports and contributions to the local community.

Selected business

Student-led project to improve operations (operational promotion type)
- Student-led Teikyo Sports Value Creation Project
—Cultivating a support culture centered around home games and building a sustainable operational model—

Projects to promote regional development through university sports (regional problem-solving type)
- An exercise concierge project in which AI and university students guide elderly people living alone toward well-being.
