The Hasuda Laboratory of Faculty of Science and Engineering conducted a human resource development course through robotics education at theUtsunomiya Campus

On July 26th (Sun), August 1st (Sat), and August 19th (Wed), 2026, the laboratory of Professor Yuichi Hasuda of Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Course, Department of Integrated Science and Engineering, Faculty of Science and Faculty of Science and Engineering, Teikyo University, conducted hands-on workshops on autonomous robots and AI for elementary and junior high school students in Tochigi Prefecture, aiming to cultivate the next generation of DX (Digital Transformation) talent.

The robot developed in this laboratory won third place at the International Innovation Contest World Finals held in October 2025, and attracted the interest For parents and guardians participated in the demonstration and tour. The "animaroid robot" brought for the children was also very well received, and there was a great deal of interest, including suggestions about the possibility of commercialization.

After the event, all participants received a certificate of completion, and this robotics workshop served as a testament to the high regard for our university's social contribution activities in the fields of robotics and AI.
Teikyo University will continue its collaboration with high schools and contribute to the development of highly skilled technical personnel who will lead the next generation.
