The Judo Club achieved excellent results at the Tokyo Student Weight Class Championships, earning the right to compete in the national tournament.
On Sunday, September 6, 2026, the Teikyo University Judo Club competed in the Tokyo Student Judo Weight Class Championships held at the Nippon Budokan (Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo). Ai Okubo (3rd year, Department of Medical Technology) won the 57-kg class, andwhile Ten Inokuma (Faculty of Medical Technology, 4th year) in the 66 kg class and Haru Ishii (Faculty of Medical Technology, 3rd year) in the 57 kg class took second place. In addition, the following athletes also qualified for the All-Japan Student Judo Weight Class Championships, meaning more members of the Judo Club secured spots in the national tournament than last year.
