On Thursday, August 6, 2026, an information exchange meeting was held at Teikyo University's Itabashi Campus, primarily for fifth-year Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences students, with the aim of connecting them with alumni and various organizations.
This program was previously held in November, but due to the earlier start of job hunting activities, it will now be held in August.
On the day of the event, in addition to fifth-year students, first- to fourth-year students from the same faculty also actively participated with the aim of fostering an early understanding of careers, and the venue was bustling with lively exchanges throughout the day. This time, we invited a total of 75 organizations from a wide range of fields, including hospitals, pharmacies, government agencies, and pharmaceutical companies, and we were able to hear valuable firsthand accounts from alumni who are active in each field and representatives from each organization about their work, what they find rewarding, and specific career paths.
Students who participated shared comments such as, "It was an extremely valuable opportunity to hear from graduates who are actually working," and "I wasn't satisfied with my career choice, but hearing from seniors gave me hope." The event had a significant impact on each student's perspective on work and their awareness of their future career paths.
Moving forward, our university will continue to work collaboratively with faculty and staff through various initiatives, including collaboration with alumni, to ensure that each student can achieve their desired career path.
