Students from Faculty of Fukuoka Medical Technology participated in security activities at the "Omuta Daijayama Festival"Fukuoka Campus

On July 25th (Sat) and 26th (Sun), 2026, students from Emergency Medical Technician Course Faculty of Fukuoka Medical Technology, Department of Medical Technology, Teikyo University Fukuoka participated in security activities at the "Omuta Daijayama Festival" held in the central urban area of Omuta City, Fukuoka Prefecture.
Student members of the functional fire brigade, working in cooperation with the Omuta City Fire Department, engage in a variety of activities, including acquiring knowledge and skills related to firefighting and disaster prevention, as well as participating in security and rescue activities and training at various events. In the event of a disaster, they also play a role in supporting recovery efforts during the emergency response phase and providing logistical support to local fire brigades, contributing to ensuring the safety and security of the community.
On the day of the event, we worked to ensure the smooth operation of the festival and prevent accidents by guiding visitors and ensuring their safety.

At Fukuoka Campus, we will continue to deepen our collaboration with the local community and further dedicate ourselves to training medical professionals who possess practical skills and a strong sense of mission.
