From July 1st (Wed) to July 29th (Wed), 2026, Teikyo University's Fukuoka Campus held its 15th annual "100 Yen Breakfast" event. This initiative was launched in response to concerns that students do not necessarily eat breakfast every day, with the aim of establishing regular lifestyle habits through breakfast consumption.
During this period, many students studying for their regular exams came to the cafeteria early in the morning to take advantage of the 100-yen breakfast. This 100-yen breakfast offered a variety of hearty dishes to help students beat the heat, including fried white fish with tartar sauce over rice, pork rice bowl, curry, chicken and egg rice bowl, and chicken rice.
Students who used the service commented, "Eating breakfast improved my daily routine," and "It's helpful to be able to get a warm breakfast for just 100 yen." It served as an opportunity for them to reconsider the importance of breakfast, and they were able to start their day energetically with a nutritionally balanced breakfast.
Fukuoka Campus will continue to strive to improve the health of its students.
