The 12th installment of the "World Cuisine" project – Hong Kong & Malaysia edition – was held at Itabashi Campus student cafeteriaItabashi Campus

From July 21st (Tue) to 24th (Fri), 2026, the 12th installment of the "World Cuisine" project – Hong Kong & Malaysia Edition – was held at Goderecio, the student cafeteria at Teikyo University's Itabashi Campus.
The "World Cuisine" project, based on the concept of "bringing globalization into everyday life," is a project that sells representative dishes from around the world as event menus for a limited time. This time, since Teikyo University has established Teikyo Hong Kong Kindergarten in Hong Kong and Teikyo Pusat Bahasa Teikyo in Malaysia, the theme was Hong Kong and Malaysia, and with the cooperation of four student supporters from our university, we offered four different plate menus devised by students on a rotating basis.
During the event, we sold Hong Kong's "Char Siu Fan Plate" and "Siu Mei Fan Plate," and Malaysia's "Nasi Ayam Plate" and "Kari Ayam Plate." Each plate was paired with local soups and desserts, allowing customers to enjoy the food cultures of Hong Kong and Malaysia. We sold out every day during the event, serving a total of 429 meals over four days. In addition to serving the food, we also introduced Teikyo Hong Kong Kindergarten and Pusat Bahasa Teikyo. Through posters, we introduced the characteristics and educational activities of each group school, providing students and faculty with an opportunity to deepen their understanding of our university's global network.

Going forward, through international events such as the "World Cuisine" project, we will continue to provide opportunities for students and faculty to become familiar with global cultures and cuisine, deepen their understanding of our university's internationalization efforts, and widely disseminate its appeal.
