Teikyo Kenko Hiroba Health Lecture "Smartly Survive Summer! 'Oasis' Discovery Workshop" was held atItabashi Campus

On Saturday, July 25, 2026, Teikyo University Itabashi Campus hosted the Teikyo Kenko Hiroba Health Lecture, "Smartly Surviving Summer! 'Oasis' Discovery Workshop." This lecture is part of the committee activities of the Faculty of Department of Nursing, Faculty of Medical Technology at Teikyo University, and is held twice a year as a public lecture aimed at providing local residents with tips for healthy living. This time, the theme was heatstroke prevention to safely get through the hot summer, and residents from the surrounding area participated.

On the day of the event, Assistant Professor Keiko Aoki of the Department Department of Nursing Faculty of Medical Technology, gave a Senior Assistant Professor on the symptoms and prevention methods of heatstroke, as well as the recent situation regarding emergency transports due to heatstroke. Furthermore, participants used a website to search for nearby summer resorts and water refill spots, and participated in a workshop where they marked their preferred locations on a map of the area around the university.
Participants shared their recommendations for local summer retreats and water refill spots, making it an opportunity for everyone to discover places that serve as "oases" for surviving the hot summers of recent years.

In addition to two health lectures per year, Teikyo Kenko Hiroba also offers health consultations four times a year (April, July, October, and January). Department of Nursing Faculty of Medical Technology Teikyo University, will continue to undertake initiatives that contribute to the health promotion of local residents.
