The Ogino Seminar of Faculty of Economics presented a marketing proposal for the job-hunting support app "AI Career"Hachioji Campus

On Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at Teikyo University (Hachioji Campus), Shigeo Ogino’s seminar—comprising students Faculty of Economics, Department of Business Administration, and Professor—presented a marketing proposal regarding the job-hunting support app “AI Career” to Kiyonori Kato, Representative Director and CEO of AI Career Co., Ltd., the app’s developer.The Ogino Seminar engages in practical marketing activities, such as presentations to companies and joint research, with a focus on developing next-generation products and advertisements. This initiative came about because the company was seeking proposals based on the unique perspectives of students, and because the service is targeted at students currently engaged in job hunting.

On the day of the event, the theme was promoting the use of the job-hunting support app "AI Career," and proposals were made regarding comparisons with existing job-hunting support services, improvements to the UI (user interface), and the planning of experiential events. Furthermore, the proposals were compiled based on an analysis of the results of a survey conducted among students who were job hunting, and there were instances where students were able to answer Mr. Kato's questions with supporting evidence. Participating students commented, "It was a very meaningful time with an unprecedented sense of tension, and I learned a lot." Mr. Kato also provided feedback on topics such as "how to highlight the differences from other companies' services" and "what methods can be considered if it is actually implemented," and a lively discussion took place regarding the proposals and their feasibility.
For the students, this was a valuable opportunity to learn marketing practically from a corporate perspective and to cultivate their proposal and planning skills. Our university will continue to promote Practical learning education that fosters problem-solving skills required in the real world through collaboration with companies.
