Teikyo University Rugby Football Club held the Teikyo Cup, a tag rugby tournament.

On Sunday, June 6, 2026, the Teikyo University Rugby Football Club hosted the "Teikyo Cup" tag rugby tournament at the Teikyo University Momokusa Ground (Hino City, Tokyo). The tournament was held with the aim of conveying the fun and appeal of rugby to local children and deepening community interaction through sports, and many children and their parents participated. This tournament was made possible with the sponsorship of the Japan Sports Safety Association.
On the day of the event, exciting matches were played by the participating teams. In addition, Rugby Football Club were in charge of managing the matches, officiating, and recreational activities. Between matches, club members and children exercised together, learning basic rugby movements, passing, and running while having fun. Smiles filled the venue from start to finish, making it a place for intergenerational exchange through sports.

At the end of the tournament, the participating children were presented with commemorative gifts, and they also had the opportunity to interact with Rugby Football Club and take commemorative photos.
At our university, we are actively engaged not only in improving athletic performance but also in community service activities. Going forward, we will continue to deepen our ties with the community through sports and create opportunities for children to enjoy sports in a safe environment.
