The Hasuda Laboratory exhibited and presented robots at the Akiba Re-ROBO Fess atUtsunomiya Campus

On Saturday, May 16, 2026, the Hasuda Laboratory exhibited and presented robots at the Akiba Re-ROBO Fess held at Akihabara Belle Salle (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo).
This event was held with the philosophy of creating a "chaotic space of technology" where people of all ages and backgrounds, from large corporations, startups, small and medium-sized enterprises, and academia, could freely interact through the medium of technology. Exhibitors included Japanese companies, schools, and clubs that are conducting research and activities related to robots, drones, and other technologies.

On the day of the event, we exhibited and presented our project, "Development of a Sampling Machine for Mosquitoes that Transmit Infectious Diseases," which won third place at the International Innovation Contest World Finals in October 2025. Many people stopped by our booth, and we received questions from robotics professionals such as Tochigi Nikon Corporation, Canicom Corporation (a leading manufacturer of lawnmowers), and venture robotics companies, as well as from Ishikawa Television Broadcasting Co., Ltd., the Saitama Prefectural Police, and engineers and researchers from Teikyo University's Kasumigaseki Campus. In addition, the animaloid robot that we brought for students and children was well-received, and there are plans to commercialize it, demonstrating the high regard for Teikyo University's efforts in contributing to society through robotics and AI.

A student from the Faculty of Faculty of Science and Engineering won third place in the international innovation competition.
