From April 20th (Monday) to 24th (Friday), 2026, Office of Global Education of Teikyo University held Go! Global Week at its Hachioji Campus.
This program, aimed at students at Hachioji Campus, introduced long-term and short-term study abroad programs, overseas internships, and overseas volunteer opportunities available from this summer onward, and was attended by approximately 190 students. During the program, guidance sessions were held for each program, explaining the program's overview, application process, and credit recognition methods. Many students showed particular interest in short-term training programs lasting approximately 2-3 weeks during long holidays, and in the Durham study abroad program, which allows for long-term travel to the university's Durham campus. In addition, a detailed support system was put in place, including individual consultation sessions with staff and opportunities to view reports from students who had returned from studying abroad. Furthermore, it also led to increased use of "Telaco," a language learning facility used as the venue.
Going forward, our university will continue to actively implement such projects in order to realize Educational Guidelines of "International perspectives."
