The first leadership training session of 2026 was held atHachioji Campus
On Thursday, March 19, 2026, the first leadership training session of 2026 was held for members of athletic clubs and Intensive Training Club belonging to the Athletic Department of Teikyo University's Hachioji Campus.
On the day of the event, after a lecture on the fundamentals of governance and compliance, participants deepened their understanding through individual work, group work, and presentations. Following this, a blind square exercise was conducted as a team-building activity. In this exercise, small teams of several people, blindfolded and holding ropes, created shapes using only verbal communication. By eliminating visual information, participants developed clear instruction skills and mutual understanding. Students commented, "I was able to experience what kind of instructions are easy to understand, and I want to apply this to my club activities going forward." Finally, with the cooperation of the Yuki Branch of the Hachioji Fire Department, an emergency response training session was held.
At Hachioji Campus, training is conducted throughout the year for personnel belonging to sports clubs and designated強化部 (strengthened clubs). We will continue to support human resource development, as well as improving compliance awareness and promoting the development of sports club activities.
