On Thursday, April 23, 2026, at Teikyo University Hachioji Campus, our seminar Faculty of Economics Department of International Economy Professor Junichi Shukuwa's seminar on financial education invited the Deputy Branch Manager of Mitsubishi UFJ Bank, Ltd. as a guest speaker.
In this class, aimed at improving the financial literacy of third-year students belonging to the Shukuwa Seminar, a lecture was given by the bank, one of the largest financial institutions in Japan, on the importance of money management, saving for the future, and investing. In addition, students learned about the importance of income and expense management and the basics of asset management, as well as the introduction of the bank's apps and various services. For students who will soon be starting their job search, the lecture also introduced the type of personnel sought in the financial industry and explained the characteristics of each bank and the role of corporate sales, making it a valuable opportunity for students to gain practical knowledge.
At our university, we will continue to respect the diverse learning styles of each student and provide practical and meticulous career support. Furthermore, we will strive to enhance our educational programs, which are mindful of their connection to society, and work towards nurturing the talent that will shape the future.
