On Saturday, April 11, 2026, at the "Seiseki Sakuragaoka MERRY GO ROUND Vol. 4" market event held on the Tamagawa riverbed (Tama City, Tokyo), the seminar of Assistant Professor Fumihiro Hosokawa of the Department Department of Sport and Medical Science Faculty of Medical Technology Technology, Teikyo University, conducted a workshop for children.

This event is a large-scale market bringing together over 80 restaurants, shops, creators, and artists from the Tama area and across Japan, with an antique-style merry-go-round creating an iconic atmosphere. Now in its fourth year, it is attracting attention as a new cultural hub for the Tama region. The Hosokawa Seminar set up a workshop for children at the event, featuring mat exercises and trampolines to convey the joy of physical activity. The university's Cheerleading Club also participated in the booth, offering a "cheerleading experience," and it was very impressive to see the children enjoying themselves.

Our university will continue to actively promote education and research in collaboration with the local community.
