The Calligraphy Club performed a calligraphy demonstration at the 3XS 2025-26 SEASON FINALS at theHachioji Campus

On Sunday, March 1, 2026, the Teikyo University Calligraphy Club performed a calligraphy demonstration during the pre-game event of the 3XS domestic 3x3 basketball league season finals, "2025-26 SEASON FINALS," held at livedoor URBAN SPORTS PARK (Koto Ward, Tokyo).
In keeping with the theme of the competition, three students from the calligraphy club also appeared, performing a routine themed around "battle" and "unification of the country," which are the concepts behind the tournament. They expressed the speed and teamwork of 3x3 basketball, where offense and defense change rapidly within a short game time, through the dynamic energy unique to calligraphy performance.
This appearance demonstrated the potential of sporting events to connect with culture beyond the realm of competition, and provided a valuable opportunity to introduce the appeal of calligraphy to a different audience than before.
