The 2025 Shoichi Okinaga Academic and Cultural Merit Award ceremony was held.

On Monday, March 23, 2026, the 2025 Shoichi Okinaga Academic and Cultural Merit Award ceremony was held at Teikyo University's Itabashi Campus for faculty and staff members.
This award is presented to individuals or organizations that have achieved outstanding results and recognition in the fields of sports, culture, welfare, academics, etc., during each academic year, thereby significantly enhancing the reputation of this university. In addition, among those nominated for this award, Shoichi Okinaga Special Academic and Cultural Award will be presented to those who are particularly outstanding, and Shoichi Okinaga Academic and Cultural Encouragement Award will be presented to those who are expected to make further contributions in the future.

The awards ceremony for our university students was held during the graduation ceremony on Saturday, March 21st. In total, one Shoichi Okinaga Special Academic and Cultural Award (one individual), seven Shoichi Okinaga Academic and Cultural Merit Awards (three groups and four individuals), and thirteen Shoichi Okinaga Academic and Cultural Encouragement Awards (three groups and ten individuals) were presented. The award certificates were presented by the university's Chairman of the Board and President, Yoshihito Okinaga, and words of praise and encouragement were offered to each recipient. We look forward to the continued success of the award recipients.
