Teikyo University's Calligraphy Club held a graduation exhibition, "Sai-do," at the Hachioji City Gakuentoshi Center (Hachioji City, Tokyo) from Friday, February 27, 2026, to Sunday, March 1, 2026. The exhibition featured 33 works in kanji, kana, and harmony style by 10 students graduating this spring, showcasing the culmination of their four years of study. On Sunday, March 1, the graduates performed a calligraphy performance, completing their works to music and expressing their gratitude for their accomplishments. Club Director Atsuya Fukui delivered a message to the graduates, saying, "I am truly proud of you all, who have supported, lifted, and encouraged each other, and have grown into the core of the Calligraphy Club. The time you've spent here, the sweat you've shed, the tears you've shed, the words you've exchanged, and the thoughts you've put into your brushes will surely support you throughout your lives. Thank you for these past four years."
Many people, including the families of graduates and calligraphy club alumni, visited the event over the three days, and the event ended on a high note. Thank you to everyone who attended.
