A student exchange event was held with Shunkai Health University at Fukuoka CampusFukuoka Campus

On Wednesday, December 17, 2025, Professor Yoon Young-woo of Chunhae Health University (South Korea) and 11 students visited Teikyo University's Fukuoka Campus and held a student exchange event, following on from last year.

The morning began with a greeting from Futoshi Mihara, Dean of the Faculty of Fukuoka Medical Technology, followed by a campus tour and department introductions by students in the practical lab, followed by an exchange of opinions about differences in learning and future goals. During the practical experience, students from Chunkai Health University asked specialized questions, and our students were seen explaining in their own words, creating a natural learning environment.
At the afternoon student networking event, Japanese and Korean students introduced themselves in mixed groups, and smiles spread across the language barrier as they played a gesture game. It was impressive to see the students trying to understand each other using translation apps, and many of them exchanged contact information after the event.
At the end of the event, student representatives from both universities exchanged greetings in each other's languages, bringing the event to a close in a warm atmosphere. This exchange deepened the connections between students and marked a major step towards continued exchange in the future.
