The Teikyo University Business Idea Contest 2025 finals were held at Hachioji Campus of Teikyo University on Tuesday, December 23, 2025. This contest, now in its fifth year since its launch in 2021, aims to foster a mindset and culture in students to take on new challenges as part of the Entrepreneurship Education Support Program.
This time, eight individuals and teams were selected as finalists from 176 applications after passing a document screening of idea sheets. The finalists worked on refining their ideas and presentations at an intensive training camp held at Hakone Seminar House on Saturday, December 6th and Sunday, December 7th.
At the final competition, the students made their final presentations, showcasing the results of their hard work. At the awards ceremony, after rigorous deliberation by the judges, the students were awarded the President of Teikyo University Award, Teikyo “One’s way” Award, Idea Award, and Sponsoring Company Award. At the end of the ceremony, President and each judge gave their evaluations and messages of encouragement, which were met with thunderous applause from the audience.
This contest was created through collaboration and cooperation between faculty and staff from the Itabashi, Kasumigaseki, and Hachioji Campus, with students from Hachioji Campus acting as staff in the operation from recruitment and publicity to the finals, and students and faculty worked together to create it. Building on the success of the past, we will continue to contribute to the development of entrepreneurship education in a way that is unique to Teikyo University.
