At the Hakone Ekiden (102nd Tokyo-Hakone Round-Trip College Ekiden Race) held on Friday, January 2, 2026, the Teikyo University Ekiden (Road Relay) Club finished the first leg in 17th place. This marks the 27th time that the university has participated, and the 19th consecutive year. Members of the university's brass band, cheerleading Cheerleading Club, and faculty and staff came to support the team at various points along the course, sending their best wishes to Ekiden (Road Relay) Club as they compete in the race. Tomorrow, Saturday, January 3, the team will aim to secure a seed spot with a simultaneous start on the return leg. We appreciate your continued support.
