The Winter Illumination Teikyo University 2025 lighting ceremony was held at Itabashi CampusItabashi Campus
On Friday, November 28, 2025, the lighting ceremony for "Winter Illumination Teikyo University 2025" was held at Teikyo University's School of Medicine Itabashi Campus. This year marks the fifth year since the event began in 2021, marking the 50th anniversary of the Faculty of Medicine. The concept of the illumination, "Hyakka Ryoran," is "flowers of the four seasons" and "cultivating talent," and expresses gratitude to the university School of Medicine medical professionals, students aspiring to become medical professionals, all those involved in medical care, and the community surrounding the University Hospital. "Hyakka Ryoran" means "a profusion of various flowers" as well as "the emergence of many talented people." Please enjoy the sight of the blossoming flowers and the talented people nurturing our university. This campus illumination was also sponsored by various companies, primarily those with a strong relationship with the university, and we received a great deal of support.
The lighting ceremony was attended by many people, including local residents, children from Teikyo Kindergarten, students and faculty of our university, and medical professionals. Representative students and children from our university lit the lights to the tune of the children's energetic countdown. The illuminated illuminations were met with cheers and applause, and everyone enjoyed the illuminations in their own way. Agepan and kebab food trucks also made an appearance, adding to the excitement of the lighting ceremony. The illuminations will be lit according to the schedule below. Please come and enjoy.
