Saitama Seibu Lions Internship held atHachioji Campus

The Saitama Seibu Lions Internship was held for students at Teikyo University's Hachioji Campus from Tuesday, August 5th to Friday, September 5th, 2025. Teikyo University, which has signed a facility naming rights sponsorship contract with the company, supports the company's philosophy of expanding educational activities for children through baseball, and has been running the Saitama Seibu Lions Internship since 2022 as an initiative to help students learn about regional development and revitalization through various collaborations.
This year, the fourth year of the program, 13 students participated, split into two courses. In the "work experience course," students experienced work related to baseball team management, such as accompanying sales representatives and managing games, while in the "PBL (problem-solving) course," they investigated issues facing the baseball team, such as measures to increase attendance. On the final day, the students gave presentations about what they had worked on during their internship, providing a meaningful opportunity for them to gain new perspectives and knowledge through practical experience in society and to think about their future careers.
Teikyo University will continue to provide a place for "Practical learning" as stated in Educational Guidelines.
