On Saturday, October 25, 2025, Teikyo University students held an exchange of opinions with Omuta City Council members at Omuta City Hall (Omuta City, Fukuoka Prefecture). This initiative was launched in 2021 at the request of the Omuta City Council, with the aim of further reflecting the voices of the younger generation in city administration, and this year marks the fifth time it has been held.
This year marked the second time the event was held at Omuta City Hall, and on the day, nine representative students selected from each department of Faculty of Fukuoka Medical Technology and 11 city council members split into two groups to exchange opinions on the theme of "What you would like to work on as a council member." Afterwards, the representatives moved to the assembly hall, where they presented the opinions and impressions of each group. After the exchange of opinions, the participants had a meaningful experience, touring the assembly hall, which is usually difficult to enter, and taking photos.
Fukuoka Campus will continue to actively engage in Community Engagement.
