On Saturday, September 20, 2025, the final presentation judging for the university student consulting competition "ConCom2025" (sponsored by the ConCom Steering Committee, a general incorporated association; 2025 challenge provider: Sofmap Co., Ltd.) was held at Tokai University's Shinagawa Campus (Minato-ku, Tokyo), with the seminar team of Professor Masakatsu Fujita of Faculty of Liberal Arts Department of Sociology, Faculty of Letters, Teikyo University, coming in second place. ConCom2025 is a business competition for university students that will mark its 10th anniversary in 2025. By dealing with real corporate challenges as its theme, it is unique in that it allows participants to experience the entire process of turning their ideas into reality, rather than simply presenting their ideas.
The theme for 2025 was "Solving management issues in the digital divide elimination project." The team from Fujita's seminar gave a presentation on their business development titled "Providing an internet environment to child welfare facilities," and was selected as the runner-up out of the 10 teams that advanced to the final round of judging. In response to this result, team leader Hiyori Naito (3rd year, Faculty of Liberal Arts) said, "The preparations, such as considering the business model, were difficult, but we are pleased with the result of coming in second place. We will use this experience in future job hunting and other situations."
