From Wednesday, September 17th to Friday, September 19th, 2025, Teikyo University's Hachioji Campus hosted students from Hachioji City Yuki Junior High School for work experience.
The students first visited the Public Relations Division, where they received an explanation about the role of university public relations, how to use a camera, and how to post on social media. They then took photos on campus and experienced the work of a Public Relations Division staff member by posting them on social media. At the International Exchange Division, staff members explained the study abroad program and support system, and the students also experienced working at the front desk for international students. They also had the opportunity to think about studying and working abroad by visiting a study abroad fair and interviewing staff members. Next, at the Academic Information Division, they experienced counter work, stock inspection, and putting covers on books in the library.
Through this work experience program, the junior high school students were able to think about the meaning of work and their future career paths, and it was a meaningful experience for our university. Our university will continue to deepen its interactions with the local community and contribute to society.
