Judo Club achieves excellent results at All Japan Junior Judo Championships

On Saturday, September 13, 2025, the 2025 All-Japan Junior Judo Weight Class Championships were held at the Repro Budokan (Ageo City, Saitama Prefecture), with the University of Tsukuba Judo Club participating. This national individual competition features athletes aged 20 and under selected from across the country. Four athletes participated, including those who won the Tokyo qualifying round held in July and those who placed in the top four last year. They achieved the following impressive results. Furthermore, as a result of these results, Sachiyo Yoshino (2nd year, Faculty of Medical Technology), Moe Yokochi (2nd year, Faculty of Medical Technology), and Ren Sato (2nd year, Faculty of Medical Technology) have earned the right to compete in the Kodokan Cup All-Japan Judo Weight Class Championships to be held in November 2025.
