On Thursday, September 18, 2025, a student study abroad report session was held at Teikyo University's Itabashi Campus. This report session is a forum for students from medical faculties to report on their experiences studying abroad, and is held annually with the cooperation of Itabashi Campus Global Office Committee and the Department of Hygiene and Public Health School of Medicine. This was the 14th time the session has been held, and more than 70 people, including students, faculty, and staff, participated.
On the day, students from Faculty of Medical Technology gave presentations on their training Taipei Medical University, which has a mutual exchange program with Department of Nursing, and at I-Shou University, which also has a mutual exchange program with Department of Radiological Technology. Next, students from the School of School of Medicine shared their valuable experiences during their fifth-year "Hygiene and Public Health Practicum" in Vietnam, their medical ethics training at the University of Washington, and their sixth-year clinical clerkship (BSC) at Taipei Medical University, the University of California, San Francisco, and Harvard University. Students from Graduate School Graduate Graduate School of Public Health also reported on their first-ever training program at University of Southern California this summer, discussing local challenges and insights gained from comparisons with Japan from a public health perspective. Each presentation was followed by a lively Q&A session, and the subsequent social gathering provided a great opportunity for cross-disciplinary interaction and mingling.
