On Saturday, June 28, 2025, Tae Maejima, Teikyo University Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences Assistant Professor, received the Best Presentation Award in Poster Presentation at the joint meeting, the 12th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Applied Therapeutics and the 9th Kanto/Koshinetsu Regional Meeting of the Japanese Society of Clinical Pharmacology held at Meiji Pharmaceutical University (Kiyose, Tokyo).

The Japanese Society of Applied Therapeutics aims to ensure that drug treatments, including not only prescription drugs and over-the-counter drugs but also supplemental non-pharmacological treatments such as supplements, are based on scientific and rational evidence. The local meetings of the Japanese Society of Clinical Pharmacology are held with the aim of providing education and training to members in the relevant region on how to conduct clinical trials appropriately, improving drug treatments, promoting clinical research, and raising awareness in society at large.

Assistant Professor Maejima gave a poster presentation on "Construction of a model for predicting drug transfer into milk using structure-activity relationship and machine learning," which was evaluated as an excellent research presentation and received this award. This research utilized quantitative structure-property relationship technology to construct a model for predicting drug transfer into milk from the chemical structure of the drug.
We look forward to Assistant Professor Maejima's continued success in the future.
