Tomohiro Saeki, Associate Professor Faculty of Liberal Arts Department of History, Teikyo University, will appear on BS11's "Great Men: Lessons from Defeat," which will be broadcast on Saturday, July 5, 2025. This program is a historical information program that analyzes the background, causes, and influences of "historical failures" made by great men, highlighting their personalities and providing lessons for us living today. The episode is titled "The Oshu Fujiwara Clan: Northern Champions Who Dreamed of an Independent Nation," and will explore why the Oshu Fujiwara Clan was destroyed and how they dominated the Tohoku region.
