Principal Administrative Officer Fumiya Kadowaki gave a lecture on "International Volunteers and Community Understanding" taught by Associate Professor atHachioji Campus

On Friday, June 20, 2025, Mr. Fumiya Kadowaki, Chief Administrative Officer, Country Development Cooperation Division 3, International Cooperation Bureau, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, gave a lecture on Official Development Assistance (ODA) at Teikyo University Hachioji Campus during the class "International Volunteering and Regional Understanding" by Ms. Kenkako Nishimukai Faculty of Languages and Cultures Department of Foreign Languages Associate Professor. In this lecture, Mr. Kadowaki explained the basics of ODA, including an overview of ODA and the types and characteristics of assistance provided by Japan, as well as specific assistance to Palestine, Ukraine, and Africa. During the Q&A session, many questions were raised about ODA, which is publicly funded, such as "What is the importance of ODA," "How can we help the public understand the importance of ODA," and "What are the benefits of ODA to Japan? Mr. Kadowaki answered each of the students' questions in detail, making it a meaningful time for the students to deepen their learning.
