Teikyo Sports Supporters Association and Rugby Football Club held an on-campus event

On Wednesday, May 14, 2025, the Teikyo Sports Supporters Association and Rugby Football Club held an on-campus event at Teikyo University's Hachioji Campus where students could experience rugby. The event was planned primarily by students from the Teikyo Sports Supporters Association with the aim of providing an opportunity for students and faculty to experience the appeal of Teikyo sports up close and personal, and to increase interest in club activities.

As the event took place during lunch break, many students gathered at Mominoki Square, and although they were confused by the rugby ball they were handling for the first time, they enjoyed the opportunity to try passing, experience the fascinating lineout of a rugby match, and see the powerful scrum up close. In addition, activities were carried out to raise student interest, such as distributing flyers informing students of Rugby Football Club 's spring tournament.
Teikyo University will continue to create student-led opportunities for students to interact with each other through sports, and work to create a lively campus.
