Professor Toshimitsu Yokobori of Advanced Comprehensive Research Organization will appear on BS Asahi's program "“One’s way”: Seekers of Knowledge"

Yokobori Toshimitsu, special Professor at Teikyo University's Advanced Comprehensive Research Organization will appear on the full-scale documentary program "“One’s way”- Seekers of Knowledge," which will be broadcast from 11:00 PM on Saturday, April 26, 2025.
Clarifying the failure mechanisms of materials used in the buildings and structures around us, such as aircraft, automobiles, and power plants, contributes to the safety of our lives. This research is called "materials strength." Professor Yokobori has conducted cross-sectional research and elucidated various phenomena in materials strength. With the goal of "ensuring global safety and security," he has conducted repeated experiments using original testing equipment and developed a unique theory for predicting the lifespan of materials. His research aims to improve safety in a wide range of fields, from airplane jet engines and thermal power generation turbines to hydrogen vehicles, the next generation of energy.
