The 5th ADC International Joint Conference was heldItabashi Campus

From Tuesday, March 25th to Wednesday, March 26th, 2025, Asia International Institute of Infectious Diseases Control, Teikyo University hosted an international joint conference, welcoming the hospital director, doctors, and researchers from Vietnam National Children’s Hospital as guests. The hospital has long fostered friendly ties and exchanges, and our university has concluded an MOU with the hospital. As the hospital is an institution where School of Medicine students visit annually for BSL training, we are also involved in various initiatives, including practical exchanges with not only researchers but also students.

The theme of this conference was "Pediatric Diseases and Image Diagnosis Using AI Analysis," and participants, including Pediatrics from the School of Medicine of Tokyo Hospital, discussed issues and future prospects from their respective professional perspectives. They also exchanged opinions on the "Stem Cell Therapy Project (specially certified regenerative medicine, etc.) Basic Research," which is also being conducted at the University of Tokyo, and discussed the possibility of future collaborative research.
We will take advantage of this meaningful opportunity to further deepen exchanges in educational and research activities, contribute to cooperation in the medical field and human resource development, and strive to further develop friendly relations between our two countries.
