Graduate School of Liberal Arts Division of Japanese Cultures Graduation Exhibition Held

From Friday, February 28 to Sunday, March 2, 2025, the Hachioji City Gakuentoshi Center (Hachioji, Tokyo) hosted the "Yu-Yu" two-person exhibition by calligraphy students studying Division of Japanese Cultures Graduate Graduate School of Liberal Arts of Letters at Teikyo Graduate School. Yuuki Sato and Yujin Kyoda (second-year Graduate School of Liberal Arts) are members of Graduate School university's Graduate School of Liberal Arts Club. They have demonstrated remarkable achievements, winning the Grand Prize at the All-Japan High School and University Calligraphy Exhibition for two consecutive years, and both winning the Outstanding Prize in their first year of graduate school and the Special Prize in their second year at the Yomiuri Calligraphy Exhibition. Furthermore, Sato's work will be exhibited as a student representative at this year's Osaka-Kansai Expo, and Kyoda's work was selected for the 10th Nitten Exhibition, making him only the fourth student in the university's history to achieve this feat.
The graduation exhibition displayed a total of 18 pieces that the two students had created over the course of two years, showcasing the results of their research in calligraphy. Many people, including family members and members of the calligraphy club, visited the exhibition over the three days, and the exhibition ended on a high note. Thank you to everyone who attended.
