The Sakura Science Program was held at Teikyo University's Utsunomiya Campus from Monday, December 16th to Friday, December 20th, 2024. Eight faculty members and students from our partner university, Panamericana University (Mexico), were invited to participate in training at the Department Department of Mechanical and Precision Systems and the Department of Faculty of Science and Engineering Department of Aerospace Engineering Teikyo University.
The training provided opportunities to experience cutting-edge technology through CAD experience, lectures and practical training on electric vehicles and autonomous driving technology, and a tour and piloting experience of hybrid drones. Furthermore, through discussions in the lab and interactions with fellow students, students were able to share knowledge and deepen their international exchange. On the final day, a graduation ceremony and tea ceremony experience were held, furthering their understanding of Japanese culture.
Through this program, it is expected that the collaboration between the two universities will be further strengthened and that international exchange will develop further in the future.
