Students from Yamazaki's seminar won the Grand Prize, Excellence Prize, and Special Prize at the 2nd "Minna no Taiwan Shugakuryo Navi" Taiwan Educational Trip Planning Awards.

On Thursday, December 26, 2024, the selection results for the 2nd "Everyone's Taiwan School Trip Navigator" Taiwan Educational Travel Planning Awards were announced, and students in Teikyo University's Faculty of Languages and Cultures Department of Foreign Languages Professor Naoya Yamazaki's seminar received the Grand Prize, Excellence Award, and Special Award.

This contest was held to design an attractive Taiwanese education plan using the learning site "Minna no Taiwan Shugaku Ryoko Navi" operated by the NPO Japan Taiwan Education Support Researchers Network (SNET Taiwan), an organization of researchers that supports learning about Taiwan. Many applications were received from universities across the country. Yamazaki's seminar, which specializes in regional studies in Chinese-speaking countries, organized six groups of four people for the contest as a task for the second half of 2024, and designed original plans on the themes of art, health management, faith, manufacturing, nature, and war, and all of the works were highly praised. The four works that won the Grand Prize and Excellence Prize will be published on "Minna no Taiwan Shugaku Ryoko Navi" at a later date.
