Our University Student Awarded at the 16th University Consortium Hachioji Student Presentation

Four seminars from our university were recognized at the 16th University Consortium Hachioji Student Presentation, held at the Hachioji City Gakuen Toshi Center (Hachioji City, Tokyo) on Saturday, December 7th and Sunday, December 8th, 2024.

This conference brings together 25 member universities and other institutions. Its purpose is to allow students to advance their own research by clearly and logically presenting the results of their studies, while also discovering and creating new value through understanding the work of others and different fields, thereby contributing to the development of member universities and the Hachioji region. Divided into three sections—Oral Presentation Session, Poster/Exhibition Session, and Proposal Session—themes focused on specialized fields and regional issues. This year's session received a record 316 applications. Over two days, over 30 students from 10 groups in the Faculty of Economics, Faculty of Law, and Faculty of Languages and Cultures from Hachioji University presented their research findings and proposals for Hachioji City's government and revitalization. International students from the Department of Foreign Languages and Department of Department of Global Japanese Studies were also seen giving presentations and participating in Q&A sessions in Japanese.
By participating in this conference, students will be able to listen to presentations from other universities and fields and engage in exchanges that transcend the boundaries of their universities and schools. It is expected that students will continue to actively work to solve social issues.
