The 2024 Faculty of Science and Engineering Best Teacher Award Ceremony was heldUtsunomiya Campus

The 2024 Faculty of Science and Engineering Best Teacher Award ceremony was held at Teikyo University's Utsunomiya Campus on Thursday, December 12, 2024. This award system, which began in the 2023 academic year, recognizes faculty members in charge of education in the Faculty of Faculty of Science and Engineering who "have received the highest student evaluations for their classes and are making great efforts to improve their classes and teaching abilities." This year, Associate Professor Muro Yukiichi of the Faculty's Department Department of Information and Electronic Engineering received the award from Dean Arai Masayuki.

Associate Professor Muro Yukiichi commented, "Thank you very much for selecting me for Faculty of Science and Engineering Best Teacher Award. I would also like to express my gratitude to all the faculty and staff involved. I am in charge of classes such as lectures, seminars, and experiments, and I change my teaching methods for each subject to increase students' motivation to learn. I believe these classes have been well received by the students. I would like to continue to strive to improve my education by making improvements to basic subjects that form the foundation of technology and specialized subjects that are constantly evolving. Thank you very much."

Our Utsunomiya Campus will continue to share information on these outstanding educational initiatives as good practices and promote faculty development activities in the future in collaboration with the Center for Higher Education Development.
