Ekiden (Road Relay) Club placed 8th in the All Japan University Ekiden, earning a seed position.

The Teikyo University Ekiden (Road Relay) Club placed 8th at the 56th All-Japan Intercollegiate Ekiden Championships (All-Japan Intercollegiate Ekiden) held on Sunday, November 3, 2024 (national holiday). This is one of the three major ekiden races in the world of university ekiden, and 25 universities that have passed regional selection compete over 106.8 kilometers in eight sections from Atsuta Shrine in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture to Ise Shrine in Ise, Mie Prefecture.

The temperature was higher than usual, making it difficult for the runners, but the runners showed good flow from the beginning of each section. At one point, they fell to a position outside the seeded range, but five out of eight runners from our university were able to run in single digits for their section, finishing in eighth place and earning a seed for the first time in four years.
