The current courses offered in Division of Japanese History and Cultural Properties include Japanese history, archaeology, art history, and cultural heritage studies-related courses, as well as courses related to geography, Eastern history, and Western history. These courses correspond to the six courses offered in the Department of History Faculty of Liberal Arts our university: Japanese history, Eastern history, Western history, archaeology, geography, art history, and cultural heritage. By changing the current major name from "Japanese history" to the more comprehensive term "history," we will be able to more clearly communicate the learning environment of this graduate school. Additionally, the major name "Cultural Heritage Studies" has been changed to "Cultural Heritage Studies" to ensure connectivity with Department of History 's art history and cultural heritage courses.
