Open lecture "How to care for the mind when living with cancer - from the perspective of psychologists and pharmacists" heldHachioji Campus

On Saturday, October 12, 2024, the Teikyo University Teikyo University Mental Health Center Hachioji Campus.

In this lecture, Toshiko Sato, Teaching Associate Teikyo University Mental Health Center, spoke to cancer patients and their families, as well as local residents interested in the topic, about the importance of mental care for cancer patients and their families undergoing treatment, and introduced consultation services where they can receive support. After the lecture, participants had the opportunity to interact with each other and tour Teikyo University Mental Health Center.

There was lively interaction between participants on the day, and many questions were asked, such as how to consult with their doctor and the current state of palliative care in the local area.
Teikyo University will continue to give back the results of its research and education to society through public lectures.
