Gosou Associate Professor has been studying rural tourism in Italy and other European countries, and has been advising on how farm stays should be in Japan.
Goso Associate Professor said, "Farm stays have become a common tourism option in Europe, with some areas in Italy staying for as many as five nights in a row. We believe that farm stays have high potential for both foreign and domestic visitors to Japan, and we hope that everyone in the selected areas will do their best," he said in a message of support.
Goso Associate Professor plans to continue its research on rural tourism by expanding the theme and scope of its research to include climate change and the United States.
